Last week on Wednesday the year 5/6 students broke into boys and girls groups to attend a social-emotional incursion – The BE me! program – run by educator and nutritionist, Kelly Fullerton.

The students were immersed in a interactive workshop which covered the ideas of body image, self-esteem and puberty. There was a strong message around loving your body for everything that it’s able to do and to celebrate differences. The workshop has been a springboard into our current social-emotional unit of learning on Wellbeing.

Kelly has also provided a newsletter to give parents and carers background information and understanding on the topics covered in the workshop. Access the PDF newsletter here: The BE Me Project Parent Newsletter
