The last two weeks and been jam packed in 5/6. The year 5s have done their speeches for leadership roles in 2018 and are very excited to have buddies next year. The 5/6 level went to the city for an excursion on the 28th of November. They were racing around the city, going to different locations to answer questions. We had to do some challenges whilst in the city like take a crazy picture. We all had a great time exploring the city and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents who came along, we couldn’t have done it without you.

This term for inquiry we have been studying energy and doing experiments. We have put all our new found knowledge into creating an iMovie to share with the other classes.

In Maths we have been learning about chance and probability and are starting to learn about patterns. We have also been learning heaps of new maths games with Ms Dame.

In Religion we have been writing our own creeds, the creeds are about things that are important to us and how it will help us in our lives.

For three weeks we’ve had a yoga incursion, to help us relax and destress, thanks to Joe for making this possible.

The entire school is practising for the Christmas Carols which are on the 3rd December at Domeny oval at 7:00 pm. The year 3s,4s and 5s are singing ‘We Three Kings’ and ‘We Need A Little Christmas’, while the year 6s are singing ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ and ‘Silent Night’ with their buddies.

We are all looking forward to next year, with all the opportunities; being at the top of the school or going to a new school. We want to thank all the teachers for working hard and making us feel like we belong. We hope you all have a great Christmas and a wonderful break.
