Last Thursday a group of Year 6 students represented St Anne’s at the Manningham Schools ANZAC Ceremony. They joined students from all other schools in the area to reflect on the spirit of ANZAC Day. Matt and McKenzie laid a wreath on behalf of St Anne’s. It was a memorable experience that helped them appreciate what others have done for our country.
As part of the Year 5/6 music program this term, the students worked in groups to create and perform a RAP for each other. What started out as a challenge for them, culminated in some really fun, clever and energetic presentations. The themes of anti- bullying and friendship reflected their understanding of these important issues.
Next term, our focus for the Arts is Drama. Some improvisation, some performance and lots of fun!
